Before joining Melville Douglas in 2023, Cara held a portfolio management position at Matrix Fund Managers, responsible for managing the equity mandates across their product range, including the equity carve-out in their balanced and hedge funds. Before joining Matrix, Cara spent 10 years at Investec (now Ninety One) Asset Management as an equity dealer, investment analyst and then co-portfolio manager of the Investec Equity Hedge Fund.
Cara holds a B.Com Degree in Law and Economics and is a CFA® Charterholder
